The Indian cricket group visited Zimbabwe from 11 June to 22 June 2016 playing three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Two weeks preceding the arrangement, Zimbabwe Cricket sacked Hamilton Masakadza as chief and supplanted him with Graeme Cremer.
Makhaya Ntini, between time mentor of the Zimbabwe side, was reproachful of India's unpracticed squad chose for the arrangement saying "on the off chance that you send us a group that is not your most grounded group, we're going to put them away from plain view".
India went ahead to win the ODI arrangement 3–0, losing minimal measure of wickets for a group amid a three-match arrangement. India additionally won the T20I arrangement, two matches to one.
