Women's World T20: West Indies enter semis, knock India out of tournament

West indies win by 3 runs to enter semifinal, while India's campaign in the tournament ends.
Celebration in the WI camp. India, however, have been eliminated from the tournament. Dottin held her nerve, defending nine off the final over while taking two wickets, and the fourth ball led to a run out. Veda flickered briefly upfront, but West Indies' bowlers choked the chase of 115 with a volley of dots in the middle. The victory, though, was set up by forties from Taylor and Dottin. Mandhana gave India some hope, but tossed it away with an ill-advised late dab. Fletcher complemented Dottin well with two wickets.

Shahid Afridi Reconsidering Retirement From International Cricket

Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi will go back home before deciding whether to retire from international cricket after his team lost to Australia and were eliminated from the World Twenty20 on Friday.
Australia beat Pakistan by 21 runs in Mohali and Afridi, who had hinted before the game that retirement was imminent, said he has not yet made a final decision to call it quits.
"I'm going to go back home and in the next four-five days I will take a decision and whatever is better for the country, I will go with that. I think I will announce this in my country," the 36-year-old told reporters.
"As a player I'm fine but as a captain I'm not fit because it's not easy to handle the pressure, especially if you are playing for Pakistan... the expectation pressure, the media pressure, everything."

Pakistan vs. Australia 2016: Match Time and Prediction

With one semifinal place already taken by New Zealand and India closing in on the other, Friday’s World Twenty20 contest between Pakistan and Australia is almost do-or-die. For Pakistan, in what will be their final game of Group 2, a win is the very least that is required to keep their slim hopes alive. For Australia, a defeat wouldn’t spell the end, but it would make things very complicated indeed going into their final match two days later against India.
Prediction: Both teams have had their problems thus far, making it difficult to make any hard and fast predictions. However, while they can never be written off, Pakistan’s problems appear far more fundamental. For Australia, the talent, especially with the bat, is there, it is in large part a matter of finding the right blend. They should be good enough to see off Pakistan.

Australia vs Bangladesh ICC World Cup T20

On Monday (March 21), two teams that have both lost their opening encounters go head-to-head at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore in what is an extremely important ICC World Twenty20 2016 game in Group 2 of the Super 10 phase. Australia and Bangladesh don’t have much history in Twenty20 Internationals, having played each other just thrice – Australia have won all of them – but Chandika Hathurusinghe’s presence in the Bangladesh back room has been a topic of some interest, especially with Mortaza saying the coach has been handing out tips about the Australian players.
Both teams need a win, and both have men capable of delivering. It will all come down to who executes their skills better on match day.

Sri Lanka vs West Indies, ICC T20 World Cup 2016:

West Indies, Sri Lanka look to boost semi-final hopes:

Both teams come to the game on the back of convincing victories and will be looking to improve their chances of progressing into the next round. The Lankans beat Afghanistan in their opening game, but the minnows gave them a run for their money.
The Caribbeans beat England in their opening game by six wickets with Chris Gayle bludgeoning the English attack to score a brilliant 100. However, their dependence on him may work in favour of Lanka, who will look to get Gayle out early and try to plough through the middle order which can be vulnerable at times.

Sir Donald Bradman

Sir Donald George "Don" Bradman,  AC (27 August 1908 – 25 February 2001), often referred to as "The Don", was an Australian crickter, widely acknowledged as the greatest Test batsman of all time. Bradman's career test bating average of 99.94 is often cited as the greatest achievement by any sportsman in any major sport.

Sir Donald Bradman of Australia was, beyond any argument, the greatest batsman who ever lived and the greatest cricketer of the 20th century. Only WG Grace, in the formative years of the game, even remotely matched his status as a player. And The Don lived on into the 21st century, more than half a century after he retired. In that time, his reputation not merely as a player but as an administrator, selector, sage and cricketing statesman only increased. His contribution transcended sport; his exploits changed Australia's relationship to what used to be called the "mother country".

Bradman made his first class debut at the Adelaide Oval, aged 19.  In all, he went to the crease 80 times in Tests, and scored 29 centuries. He needed just four in his last Test innings, at The Oval in 1948, to ensure an average of 100 - but was out second ball for 0, a rare moment of human failing that only added to his everlasting appeal. Bradman made all those runs at high speed in a manner that bewildered opponents and entranced spectators. Though his batting was not classically beautiful, it was always awesome.

Playing in only his tenth first-class match, Bradman, nicknamed "Braddles" by his teammates, found his initial Test a harsh learning experience. Caught on a sticky wicket. Australia were all out for 66 in the second innings and lost by 675 runs (still a Test record). Following scores of 18 and 1, the selectors dropped Bradman to twelth man for the Second Test. An injury to Bill Ponsford early in the match required Bradman to field as substitute while England amassed 636, following their 863 runs in the First Test. RS Whitington wrote, "... he had scored only nineteen himself and these experiences appear to have provided him with food for thought".Recalled for the Third Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Bradman scored 79 and 112 to become the youngest player to make a Test century, although the match was still lost. Another loss followed in the Fourth Test. Bradman reached 58 in the second innings and appeared set to guide the team to victory when he was run out It was to be the only run out of his Test career. The losing margin was just 12 runs.

After his wife's death in 1997, Bradman suffered "a discernible and not unexpected wilting of spirit. Hospitalised with pneumonia in December 2000, he returned home in the New Year and died there on 25 February 2001, aged 92.

Cricket Australia's organizational structure is designed to efficiently operate the game, and is divided into separate components focused on specific responsibilities such as: Cricket Marketing Services, Cricket Operations, Finance and Business Services, Game Development, Legal and Business Affairs, and Public Affairs.
